The content, which belongs to them, is on my site via an IFRAME (content hosted on their site). The user generates some embed code from said content and is then able to paste it to their site. Within the embed code is a backlink to my own site.
Now the problem…
That backlink is merely a 302 redirect from the company site (they insisted on this for traffic analysis) to my own.
Question: Does my backlink on the user site have any PR value for my own site? Are their any negative implications (SEO, Google) for ME, having everything set up this way.
I know they can change the redirect at anytime and I can live with that. I’m just more concerned about PR while the links exist.
Thanks for the help!

I don’t fully understand backlinks. Below is a somewhat backlink that I made up, but the only thing I don’t know if it’s right to give to someone to use on there site. Also I need to know once you create a back link do you keep it inside your html page like a permanent link.
Anybody who have knowledge or experience in this area, if you can please give me a correct example like the somewhat one already illistrated below. See, I just don’t want to give somebody the wrong or misleading information to place on their site and moreover never being able to link back to me.
Thanks to everyone that gives me some input on this matter! Ollie P
